We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician with a combination of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and maintenance skills to be responsible for maintenance and projects for a 70,000 square foot facility in Phoenix, AZ.

  • The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and executing the overall maintenance requirements of the facility. Must be able to perform routine repair and general maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment under general supervision.

  • This work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as the state and local regulations required to insure a safe and clean working environment and condition of the facility.

  • Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. HVAC, electrical; mechanical, ventilation, plumbing, etc.); Perform general cleaning and other tasks as assigned.

  • Ensures proper performance and maintenance of all HVAC, electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems within the building to ensure efficient operation

  • Ensures proper performance, maintenance, and operation of all processing equipment, and all package filling equipment.

  • Troubleshoots maintenance problems involving HVAC, electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement.

  • Performing repair or general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks.

  • Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts.

  • Partners with security team to ensure all safety and security systems are properly maintained

  • Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.

  • Ensures all custodial functions associated with cleaning and maintaining the facility both inside and outside and ensures compliance with all federal, state and local building safety & security requirements

  • Manages outside contractors for determined outside facilities and equipment maintenance services

  • Other duties as assigned
  • 4+ years of experience in a Facilities Maintenance capacity

  • Certification or Education in Engineering or a minimum of 6 years of similar Facilities Maintenance experience

  • Experience maintaining a variety of facility systems and equipment

  • Proven track-record of project management success

  • Outstanding attention to detail and follow-up skills

  • Will be required to use ladders, lift up to 50lbs and move equipment.

  • Must be able to pass State background checks
